Home Staging 101

When you hire a real estate agent and your listing has hit the market, now is time to get your home ready for buyers to come in and preview your home.  Home staging is key to getting a quick sale.

  1. Buyers can visualize themselves living in your home
  2. A positive impact on the value of your home 
  3. Buyer will offer a higher "asking price"
The most important rooms to stage
  1. Living room
  2. Kitchen 
  3. Master Bedroom
  4. Dining Room
  5. Bathrooms
  6. Guest room
Note:  You don't have to hire a professional stager to stage your home and  you don't have to spend a fortune doing it.

When I have a listing, I always preview the home first, give my advice and opinion about the layout how we can make it look "show ready" for buyers.  I offer to stage it with their how furniture and I add a little of my own touch to it.
